Justin Marks Nets Another Top-20 at Nashville

08/09/2008 — Gladeville, TN (08-09-2008) – Germain Racing driver Justin Marks learned some lessons at Nashville Superspeedway en route to his 20th place finish. Marks was making his first-ever NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series start at Nashville and a spin in qualifying put the driver of the no. 9 Construct Corps Tundra at the tail end of the field for the start of the Toyota Tundra 200. “I’ve raced at Nashville Superspeedway in the ARCA RE/MAX Series, but the Construct Corps Tundra was a completely new experience. I’d say we had a pretty good race truck, but we hurt the finish for the Construct Corps Tundra by starting at the back of the field,” said Marks, who made more than 30 passes according to NASCAR’s Loop Data Statistics. The most made by any driver in the 150-lap race was 45. Marks felt the Construct Corps Tundra team did a great job at Nashville. “We made a lot of adjustments to the Construct Corps Tundra. The team did a great job on pit road. We fought tight at the beginning of the race and when making adjustments just went a bit too far to the loose side. Next up is short-tracking racing at Bristol. I can’t wait,” said Marks. Visit www.germainracing.com to find out how your company can become part of the sponsor lineup with championship-winning Germain Racing. ###
