Marks Likes Team’s Program for Intermediate Tracks

07/14/2008 — #9 Justin Marks, Construct Corps Tundra Mooresville, NC (07-14-2008) – Justin Marks hopes his team’s continued improvements at intermediate tracks translates into a solid performance at Kentucky Speedway. Marks and the Construct Corps Tundra crew, led by Jason Overstreet, would like to gain a few spots in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series points standings and return to the forefront in the Raybestos Rookie of the Year battle. "I’m looking forward to putting the Construct Corps Tundra on track at Kentucky this weekend. I have confidence in our intermediate program and I expect we are a solid top-ten truck in qualifying for this type of track,” said Marks. “We’ve made a lot of gains in our mile and a half program and we have a Keystone Light Pole Award from Texas to show for it. I really like racing at Kentucky and I’m looking forward to a great finish in Saturday’s race.” Marks is tied for second in the Truck Series rookie standings. He’d like to move back to the top. “I’d love to get back on top of the Raybestos Rookie standings but my focus is improving our finishes in the Construct Corps Tundra. We’ve made a lot of gains and if we can reach the finishes we feel we are capable of as a team, then it should help us attain our team goal of winning the rookie of the year title,” said Marks. In ARCA RE/MAX Series competition, Marks has raced at Kentucky Speedway. “I’ve been to Kentucky Speedway and despite the bad luck there, I really like the race track. I also like our team’s chances at mile and a half race tracks,” said Marks. Marks is 17th in Truck Series points. Germain Racing has won two or more races each year for a total of 14 wins.
