RAYBESTOS® ROOKIE CONTENDER PRACTICE DAY QUOTES FOR THE AAA INSURANCE 200 NASCAR CRAFTSMAN TRUCK SERIES RACE AT DOVER INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY , MAY 29, 2008, PAGE 3. by Jimmy White Justin Marks was the top Raybestos Rookie in the first practice session this afternoon at Dover. We’re definitely good off the truck today. We’ve got a truck that’s fast but it’s comfortable, too. It’s nice to come to the racetrack and just tweak on some minor stuff and kind of do little stuff, sort of fine-tuning. The Germain Toyota Tundra is really good right off the truck and this is a really fun racetrack. I’ve never been here before but it’s a really, really awesome racetrack. I’m enjoying it. To me it’s a racetrack like Rockingham or some of the cool high banked short tracks like Salem or Winchester because it’s fast but you really work hard for the speed. You’ve got to drive the thing off in the corner a little bit beyond your comfort level and hope it sticks but if it’s tight or loose or whatever it is, you’ve got the truck up underneath you. It’s bumpy and you really feel like you’re wrestling with it so when you go fast it’s really rewarding. You feel like you really worked for it. You feel like you’re in the truck really working, man, working hard and that’s what’s cool about it.” THE GROOVE WILL WIDEN OUT AS MORE RUBBER IN PUT DOWN ON THE TRACK. “I noticed that it moved up just a little tiny bit. I think not until you get the Nationwide cars and the Cup cars you’re going to really see it move up and then I think you’ll be able to make it work up there because you kind of diamond the corners here anyway. So in the very middle of one and two and three and four the groove is already starting to move up. We’re just trying to get it to work good on the bottom. If we get it working good on the bottom and if the groove moves up in the race we can go up there.” ###
